We provide: Shelter, meals, case management, and support services using a large network of volunteers and an interfaith coalition of congregations throughout Greater Concord.
Family Promise is an interfaith network shelter for homeless families. This means that families are provided with their evening meal and comfortable lodging at congregations throughout the Greater Concord area.
Never more than three families or up to fourteen people at a time will stay with the hosting congregation. These host sites rotate and provide support for one week at a time. Each family stays at the site from 5:30PM to 7:30AM daily. When families are not at their host site they are able to utilize the Day Center, on Loudon Road, for resources, job searching, housing applications and case management. We aim for a maximum stay of 60 days, with weekly goal reviews and check-ins with the case manager to help monitor families progress. Thirty-day additional extensions can be offered when appropriate.
